Reynaldo Maldonado graduated from corrections officers' academy of Puerto Rico and worked as a correction officer for eight years. His passion and abilities with firearms lead him to be part of the tactical operations unit of administracion correctional de Puerto Rico.
After working as a corrections officer, Reynaldo decided to move to Pennsylvania. During the time that he lived in Pennsylvania, Reynaldo got certified as a National Rifle Association instructor for pistol, reloading metallic, and as a recruiter.
His work background also includes previously working as a bodyguard, serving on the Allentown Police Reserves, and Lehigh Valley Hospital security. In 2011, Reynaldo moved to San Angelo Tx and is currently working at for the Texas Health and Human Services at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center as a Risk Management Security Level 3 .
Throughout all his years working in the law enforcement field, Reynaldo has noticed the lack of knowledge regarding the safe use and handling of firearms. His passion and desire to educate the community on a better, safer, and more responsible way to handle firearms has taken him to become a certified Texas License to Carry Instructor as well as making the San Angelo Firearms Learning Center a Texas Law Shield Facility.
